I worked for Gladys at the Valley Diner 53 years ago, and I've never forgotten her. She was always happy and ready to laugh and have a good time. I also remember her kindness when men came in offering to work for a meal. She heaped their plates and told me to give them as many refills as they wanted - then found a little chore for their dignity. I'm glad she had a long life.

I met gladys at the nursing home, she and my mom were room mates. I could not have asked for a better room mate for mom to be with, Gladys was a very lovely woman..the staff told me how gladys looked out for my mom beings mom was a newbie to the home, i had great comfort in knowing Gladys was watching out for her and would tell me what happened while i was gone (LOL) though we only

When I would visit my wife who was in nursing school with David's wife Julie, I would frequently stay with Dave and his mom. I remember the wonderful breakfasts she would make....bisquits and gravy and fried eggs! She was a fine lady!

I knew Gladys for a short time, but grew to dearly love her as a member of my own family. She was out spoken, and a very great person. Gladys was a sweet person who made me feel great when I talked to her. She sat at a table next to where I sat at meal times. Each time she took a bad spell I became concerned.
