Condolence & Memory Journal

Gary and Linda -
Sorry ot hear of your loss. I only just found out from my daughter, Mandy.
I lived two doors south of your mom - from 1972 to 1996. Knew both of your parents, what wonderful people.
My two children during their growing up years, Colin Casillas and Mandy Casillas would always go down to visit your folks and continued even after your father passed.
Your mom and I have always stayed in touch during the holidays and birthdays.
I'm sure your mom's neighbors will miss her always cheerful smile!
She will definitely be missed, but is in a much better place now!
May God be with you during this difficult time.

Linda, Gary and Family~
I am so sorry to hear of Edna's passing, I still cant believe it, I was just in town visiting my Dad with my family and had stopped by Ednas house.
We always kept in touch with letters and cards. I still remember all the times I would stop down to visit with her, she would always offer me a drink of pop: ) then we would sit at her kitchen table and talk. I also remember when Henning would have his candy dish full - my cousin Rene'e and I would always take a few extra.
I could go on and on with so many wonderful memories of your Mom, she was like a Grandma to me and I even though it had been almost 5yrs since the last time I saw her I will miss her everyday.
Take care,
you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

Linda and Gary, my deepest sympathy in the loss of your mom. She was a very sweet lady and always a good neighbor. I must apologize for not getting to the funeral, we had company from out of town who just left and I realized I couldn't get there in time. I live n Colona, IL now and my son Todd Stone, who had bought mom and dad's house next door to your mom after they passed away, is now married and lives in Milan, IL. Has a 10 Month old little guy. I still remember our growing up years and hope that you both are doing well. Once again, my condolences. "Big Linda" as I was once referred to, when we were growing up.
