Margaret M. Fender, 95, of Milan, IL died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Trinity Rock Island, IL
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Coal Valley. There will be no visitation. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Coal Valley, IL where she was a member, or to the American Cancer Society. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family with arrangements.
Margaret was born on January 30, 1916 in Belgium to Phillip and Romanie (Roose) DeBaillie. She married Dallas Ketner and later married George Fender. Margaret was self-employed for many years as a seamstress.
